Rome - A framework cooperation agreement was signed in Rome between ASTAG, the Swiss association of road haulage and passenger transport operators, and Trasportounito, an Italian association strongly rooted in the world of small and medium-sized companies that transport goods and passengers.

The agreement that was formalized by Adriano Alessio Sala, president of ASTAG’s Ticino section, in direct representation of the national presidency of ASTAG, and Maurizio Longo, secretary general of Trasportounito, provides for an all-around collaboration on issues related to planning as well as forms of transnational and supply chain collaboration, and also in terms of relations with national and international institutions.

The agreement is also based on the project for the creation of a high-level training organisation, which will make use of professional skills available in the two countries, in both legal and operational capacities.
