Oslo - Australia’s shipping company Coral Expedition has ordered its second expedition cruise ship to Vard, the norwegian shipbuilding company controlled by Italy’s Fincantieri.

Second to the “Coral Adventurer”, the “Coral Geographer” will be delivered in Q4 2020, and is already well advanced in production at the shipyard’s site of Vard Vung Tau, Vietnam. As its twin ship, it will be 93.4 meter long and will carry up to 120 passengers with a focus on high quality.

“This is an attractive, high quality and effective expedition cruise vessel for a greatly respected regional shipowner and operator,” commented Vard’s Ceo Roy Reite.
