Fredericia (Denmark) - Denmark’s power company Ørsted has announced its intention to issue green senior bonds in the UK-market to finance its green growth ambition towards 2025 including the investments in the offshore wind farm Hornsea 2 with a capacity of 1,386 MW.

Hornsea is a wind farm under construction in the North Sea off the coast of England, with a planned total capacity of up to 6 GW, that would make it the world’s largest offshore wind farm.

Ørsted has appointed Barclays Bank PLC, Goldman Sachs International, Morgan Stanley & Co. International PLC and NatWest Market PLC as joint lead managers on the bond issuances.
